At Studio Minerva I led the packaging design for an ultra-premium release for Brugal, translating the founder’s spirit of exploration into a collectible presentation piece.
The structure was conceived as a refined travel case inspired by traditional luxury luggage, referencing the historic journeys of Don Andrés Brugal and the global travels of the brand’s Maestros Roneros. Inside, the bottle sits within a compass-inspired platform, with cartographic details and mirrored surfaces reinforcing the theme of exploration while creating a display object for collectors.
The outer case and interior were designed to balance narrative detail with restraint, using considered materials and finishes to elevate the object while maintaining a sense of heritage and prestige.
Role: Lead designer on the project, working closely with the Executive Creative Director and overseeing development with the production director and 3D designer. Responsible for the presentation case design, interior display platform and material specification, with input into the bottle design including detailing and stopper development.
